Quick History
Developed by DuPont Engineering 20 years ago in response to the question:
"Why are we getting such a large variance in gold yields for identical
sample lots of scrap, sludge, gold baths and filters? The answer was
simply process limitations within each refiner's facility. The result
was the development of a chemical - not melting - process to eliminate
contaminates and potential sampling errors - both very costly in the
conventional methodology of gold extraction.
This revolutionary process was so effective that scrap from around the globe was sent back to the facility in the U.S. for gold extraction. Yes, the cost of transport from Europe and Asia was insignificant compared to the additional gold dollars returned by this process. Vetted and captive to one company for 15 years; it became available to the general marketplace several years ago.
Who Benefits
Ideally, those companies in the INTERCONNECTION INDUSTRY, COMMERCIAL
PLATING and METAL STAMPING COMPANIES can sharply increase their returns
without capital investments and/or long drawn out project studies.
With today's quest to shrink costs, maximize revenue and gold prices
near historic highs: can you afford reducing your payout by $3 PER
POUND?
What it takes is the realization that your company's satisfactory
results over perhaps years is leaving money in the wrong pocket. But
you think, "I don't notice any real difference between several vendors
who I have previously sent my scrap to." AND YOU WOULDN'T BECAUSE
THEY ALL USE THE SAME PROCESS! (Remember the joke about defining insanity
as expecting a different result all the while doing the same thing
each and every time).
Going Lean?
Our solution methodology and automated equipment allow us to process
relatively small lots you may have instead of waiting to accumulate
larger amounts of material sufficient to interest our competitors.
Smaller more frequent lots DECREASES YOUR CYCLE TIME and INCREASES
YOUR POTENTIAL CASH FLOW. You practice Lean manufacturing methods
in your operations - why not in handling your scrap?
